All traffic across the bridge was halted Monday. On Wednesday, a nearby dam partially burst after Norway’s largest river spilled over and broke through the structure. Downstream communities had been evacuated and no casualties were reported. (Jess Fleming / Pioneer Press)The space has been changed slightly — the open kitchen/sushi assembly area has been drywalled in, which surprisingly makes the restaurant seem less crowded, and tables have been reconfigured slightly. There is new artwork, but also a few giant televisions, which were used to play (not too loud) music while were there. Much like Kyatchi, Erta Ale’s atmosphere is warm and inviting. The restaurant just got its beer and wine license, and they are serving several local beers on...
