ISLAMABAD (AP) — A Pakistani court Tuesday ordered a public trial in prison of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on charges of revealing official secrets, his lawyer said. The popular opposition politician is already behind bars on a corruption charge but has a slew of other cases against him. The latest ruling means journalists and supporters of Khan can attend the trial, which will be held in prison because authorities say it is too dangerous for him to appear in a regular courtroom. The trial will determine whether Khan breached the official secrets acts by waving around a confidential diplomatic letter after his ouster through no-confidence in parliament in April 2022.Khan’s lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha said they were seeking the trial in a regular court on directions from the former premier. Last week, another court ordered his trial be held in a regular court, but Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain said the proceedings would continue at Adiyala Prison in the garrison city of R...Live updates | Israel and Hamas extend truce, agree to free more hostages and prisoners

Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend their cease-fire until Wednesday, raising the prospect of further exchanges of militant-held hostages for Palestinians imprisoned by Israel and a longer halt to their deadliest and most destructive war.Eleven Israeli women and children freed by Hamas entered Israel on Monday night after more than seven weeks in captivity in Gaza in the fourth swap under the original four-day truce. Thirty-three Palestinian prisoners released by Israel arrived early Tuesday in east Jerusalem and the West Bank town of Ramallah. The prisoners were greeted by loud cheers as their bus made its way through the streets of Ramallah. The deal for two additional days of cease-fire raised hopes for further extensions, which would also allow more aid into Gaza, which has been battered by weeks of Israeli bombardment and a ground offensive that have driven three-quarters of the 2.3 million population from their homes. But Israel says it remains committed to crushing Hamas’ mi...Elevator drops 650 feet at a platinum mine in South Africa, killing 11 workers and injuring 75
