Armed grease thief busted by Beverly Hills cops

A man wanted in connection with a string of commercial-kitchen grease thefts was arrested late last month, authorities with the Beverly Hils Police Department announced Monday. The suspect, identified as Alfred Jose Padilla of Lynwood, was taken into custody after an “investigative traffic stop” just before 2 a.m. on Mar. 24, according to a BHPD news release. While authorities did not provide the exact location of the traffic stop, they did note that the suspect was also in possession of a loaded firearm and a controlled substance. Steph Curry is set to make another foray into the world of entertainment, this time as a co-star in a mockumentary-style comedy series.The Warriors’ two-time MVP will apparently be playing himself in ‘Mr. Throwback’, which is in development at NBC, according to a report published Tuesday by Deadline’s Peter White. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department Missing Person Unit is asking for the public’s assistance to find a missing 33-year-old woman. On Monday at 6 p.m., a woman called SFPD's Central Police Station reporting that Alaina Marie Adams was missing. Adams does not live in California and she was supposed to board a cruise ship at Pier 27, police said. Adams never boarded the ship, and she remained missing as of Tuesday afternoon, police said.Adams is described as white, 5'4" tall, weighs 140 pounds, has black hair, and brown eyes. (KRON) -- One of two juveniles arrested for the homicides of two brothers who were fatally shot last year at a house party has been charged by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, according to Oakland PD. Angel and Jazy Sotelo were fatally shot on Oct. 1, 2022 at a residence on the 950 block of Apgar Street in Berkeley. Puppy found stuffed in garbage bag in Santa Cruz County Jazy, 15, and Angel, 17, were students at Berkeley High School. The brothers were killed at a party held at an Airbnb in Oakland. There were around 30 people at the party when the shooting occurred. When officers initially responded to the incident, they located several victims with gunshot wounds. BRENTWOOD, Calif. (KRON) -- Gunfire was exchanged early Sunday morning in Brentwood after an attempted car break-in, the Brentwood Police Department said. The shots were fired on the 2700 block of Serene Court before 4 a.m. Sunday morning. BPD officers determined that the suspects were in the victim's driveway trying to break into a vehicle when the victim discovered them. 3 San Francisco shootings in 1 day leave 1 dead, 14-year-old injured The victim confronted the suspects, and a suspect fired a round at the victim, police said.
