SURPRISE, Arizona (KNXV) — A driver was arrested after Surprise police say a road rage incident was caught on camera. 40-year-old Charles Bass was taken into custody after pointing a gun twice at a teen driver earlier this month.“The first time he pulled it up, it didn’t really hit me,” said 19-year-old Shi ’Anna Bamba.On December 5, she was driving near Litchfield and Cactus roads in Surprise. After dropping off her siblings at school, Bamba said she tried to change lanes. Deanna and Tasha are Dalmatians who bravely fought off a pack of coyotes trying to attack them and their owner during a walk outside Boston, early Wednesday morning. Talk about a couple of good girls. The dogs’ owner, Jane Freedlander, said a friend was walking the two dogs when the coyotes attacked them from behind.The youngest Dalmatian named Deanna jumped into action as soon as the attack started. “Just one approached showing the biggest smile to attack, he responded and he jumped to grab us like try to catch us. He attempt to attack us and she responded with a bite,” said Freedlander. All four coyotes ran away when the dogs started biting one of them. Dalmatians are known as guard dogs. Their owner said coyote sightings are becoming pretty common around Boston, but luckily no one was hurt. No police report was filed.

Former BCPS employee arrested for false bomb, written threats

Broward Sherrif’ss Office officials, along with Fort Lauderdale Police and Plantation Police, arrested a former Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) employee for reportedly making false bomb threats and written threats to kill. Jayson Arlon Richardson, 42, was arrested on Dec. 21 on multiple charges after an extensive investigation revealed that he was making several bomb threats from public libraries. Detectives revealed that Richardson had previously worked as a teacher’s assistant for BCPS.On Nov. 18, detectives from the BSO Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) received five bomb threats through the FortifyFL app, a mobile app that allows users to report suspicious activity, against schools in Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Plantation.
